Ferrari F12 berlinetta arrives in Australia

Ferrari F12 berlinetta

Those readers who put down their $700K to secure themselves a Ferrari F12 berlinetta will be pleased to see the first Australian delivered car has arrived. Although your enthusiasm may be tempered when you learn this is a company car and not a customer delivery. With an 18 month waiting list for local deliveries you may still have quite a wait ahead of you before your own 545kW supercar arrives.

You have our sympathies. We’re sure you’ll manage to cope with your lowly 599 until the F12 arrives. And, no, we’re not jealous at all. Much!

F12berlinetta arrives in Australia

Sydney, 3.7.2013

The fastest production series Ferrari ever built has arrived in Australia! The F12berlinetta is the pinnacle of design excellence and engineering prowess. With its countless international awards we are now seeing the first F12berlinetta arrive into the Australian market.

Ferrari Australasia CEO Herbert Appleroth said “We are extremely excited to have the F12berlinetta arrive in Australia, as it sets a new benchmark for extreme sports cars and will be the epitome of the Ferrari range offered to our clients.”

The F12berlinetta’s accolades include 2012 Auto Bild Design Award, 2012 Auto Bild Goldenes Lenkrad Award, EVO Magazines engine of the year, BBC Top Gear Magazine and GQ’s 2012 Supercar of the Year, Best Sports Car in the Auto Motor Und Sport and most recently the Best performance Engine at Engine of the Year Award 2013.

This V12 Sports car redefines classic themes with its innovative design and extreme aerodynamics. It is the most powerful and high-performance Ferrari road car ever launched thanks to the incredibly efficient engine – in terms of mechanical, combustion and fluid-dynamics efficiency – which, together with advanced vehicle architecture, aerodynamics, components and electronic controls, guarantee unsurpassed driving involvement whatever the road or track.

Ferrari has built a car that will change the way people think about Super cars and their abilities on the road. The Australian customers have shown their excitement for the newest member of the Ferrari family with a number of forward orders being placed and an 18 month wait list. The first of the customer orders will be arriving into the Australian market in the coming months.
