About

Welcome to AUSmotive.com

AUSmotive was established in March 2008. It followed the creation of AUSringers.com, which focuses on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. I visited the Ring in 2006, and if I thought I was hooked before I went, I was definitely hooked after experiencing the track first hand. After a few months running AUSringers, I found I had a desire to broaden my motoring outlet and so AUSmotive began.

The site, for the most part, focuses on European cars, along with general motoring news, the latest in the motorsport world (mostly Formula One and Australia’s MINI CHALLENGE), or just giving my views on the latest model releases and news from around the globe.

I enjoy reviewing cars and sharing my opinions. Opportunities, at this stage, don’t always present themselves as often as I might like, but I’ve enjoyed the reviews I have written to date and trust they offer a valuable insight to those who read them.

Traffic to the site has continued to grow steadily since it began, and continues on an upward trend. According to the StatCounter plugin attached to the site, AUSmotive is attracting in excess of 100,000 page loads per month—including more than 80,000 unique visitors. January was a record month, so bookmark AUSmotive now and do your part to help traffic growing. You can even add the site to your favourite RSS service or follow AUSmotive on twitter.

I invite your feedback, either through the comments section available at the end of each article, or via the email address below.

Cheers
