Are these racing minis sold at the end of the season and if so where ?

Ken, MINI Australia has given a commitment to run the MINI CHALLENGE for a minimum of five years. Last I heard the management rights for the series are up for sale but a smooth transition is expected and I’ve been assured there is no reason to expect that 5 year commitment will change. Therefore, when contestants sign up for the MINI CHALLENGE they effectively buy a lease for the car. If they want to sell their car, they basically on sell that lease to whoever wants to take their spot on the grid. On that basis, unless anything unforseen happens, I can’t see any of these R56 CHALLENGE cars coming on the market until the end of the 5th year of competition.

So, I guess that’s a long way of saying no, haha. If you’re serious about getting involved either send me an email and I can pass on a couple of contacts or just visit the official website: http://www.minichallenge.com.au
