I guess I’ll start by saying I’d love to see the road going Scirocco in Australia.
C’mon Volkswagen, please bring the car down under!

Please, bring Scirocco to Australia, we need more good looking cars in this country.

If the Sirocco hits Australia’s shore it would be on my short list for my next car.
Great looking car - I think it targets a very different market to the GTI owner.
Come on VWA!

Please, please, please, please, please!!! A car lighter and lower than the GTI? A hot seller for sure. If VW are worried about how it will sell as a Coupe, they need only look at how the TT has sold in Aus, and consider that it will be cheaper…

Bring it down under, no doubt it will be a hot seller.

I’d certainly like to see a Scirocco down here with the 230bhp 2.0TFSI and 4motion.. VW can come take my money for such a car anytime.

Please bring the scirocco to Australia.

As an owner of 4 Mk 1 Scirocco’s I believe comparing the market place of the new Scirocco with the current GTI would be as accurate as comparing the original Mk1 Scirocco with the Mk 1 GTI, same underpinnings, but a hugely different car to drive !!
C’mon VW Australia, get it together as YOU missed the opportunity way back in 76 to bring these wonderful cars to our shores !!!

Very nice, but how about making it even nicer with the 3.2litre V6 ?!

As a former MkI Scirocco owner and APCC winning race engineer my heartfelt requests would be.
1) Bring the Scirocco to Australia.
2) Give us 2 to race.
3) Watch us kick some serious production racing butt.

VW needs to see that there is a growing demand for smaller engined sports vehicles as the end is in sight of the big V8’s. Golf Gti’s have done reasonably well - and the demand for the Scirocco will be the same. What we need is a car that can take on the Audi S3 - and walk over it with its much better looks. VW Scirocco - get it over here!

Sirocco would definitely be on my list of replacements for my GTI Golf. C’mon VW - would bring the brand terrific cache.

I can understand their dilemma - I too have a GTI Mark V that I would trade in for a Scirocco. Yes it would steal sales from the 3dr GTI but that it would just even out the range distribution. A Scirocco is not a 5dr and it isn’t an AWD V6.

I want this car to replace my GTI! Come on VW Australia! Give us the Scirocco! Not all of us want or need the 3.2 engine litre in it. Just give us what the UK has!

I am a gti V owner and am in the market for a new car in 2009 please bring the scirocco
to Australia for 2009

it seems the only way to contact VW directly from the Australian VW site is via their CONTACT US email form page. I have asked about the Scirocco three times on this page now to no response. Pretty poor customer service for potential VW customers if you ask me.
Just give us a date so we’re not so frustrated, for god’s sake VW!

Leave that with me Mark, I have an idea…
