Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupé Black Series – Australian pricing & specs

Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series

Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz.
My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends.

And Lord, can it please be a $245,000 C63 AMG Coupé Black Series? There’s only 32 coming to Australia and I kind of need to know now if you can help or else I will probably miss out.

Do you think he’ll help? I’ve got until April next year to get the money. That’s about five months away. Maybe I could save the cash myself, it’s only about $1700 a day.

Yes, we are big fans of the C63 Coupé AMG Black here at AUSmotive and we reckon a fair number of you will be as well. It has to be one of the best looking and most aggressively styled cars to come out of a German factory ever. With 380kW of normally aspirated 6.3 litre V8 fury it will go like stink as well.

Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Cars, Mr Horst von Sanden is very confident he will have no trouble shifting the C63 AMG Black from his showrooms.

“In Australia we have offered two AMG Black Series models in the past and they were very quickly snapped up by AMG aficionados who recognised their unique character and scarcity,” said von Sanden.

“The C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series will be limited to a total of 35 units for Australia and New Zealand. Obviously we wanted to get more but, the global customer demand for this latest Black Series has seen our allocation limited… and we already have a double figure order bank.”

Back in Black – C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series Pricing Announced

The C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series will go on sale in Australia during April 2012 at a MRLP of $245,000. Thirty two will be imported to Australia and three to New Zealand. The 6.3 litre V8 develops 380kW of power and 620Nm of torque which will produce a 0-100km/h time of 4.2 seconds.

The Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Cars, Mr Horst von Sanden has announced pricing for the most powerful C-Class ever the C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series. “In Australia we have offered two AMG Black Series models in the past and they were very quickly snapped up by AMG aficionados who recognised their unique character and scarcity. This is our third Black Series and it follows on from the success of the CLK 63 AMG Black Series (40 units for Australia/NZ) and the SL 65 AMG Black Series (7 units for Australia/NZ).

“The C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series will be limited to a total of 35 units for Australia and New Zealand. Obviously we wanted to get more but, the global customer demand for this latest Black Series (since it was revealed at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show) has seen our allocation limited to just 35 units. Many CLK 63 AMG Black Series owners see the C63 AMG Coupe Black Series as the logical successor and we already have a double figure order bank,” said von Sanden.

The CLK 63 AMG Black Series went on sale in the first quarter of 2008 at a RRP of $299,000 – thirty two were imported to Australia and eight to New Zealand. The 6.3 litre V8 developed 373 kW of power and 630Nm of torque which produced a 0-100km/h time of 4.3 seconds.

It’s not often I would consider $245,000 for a car ‘good value’, but then I can’t imagine this being used as anything other than a garage filler. In which case it’s quite pricy

for the cashed up middle aged exec who wants to 1 up on his mates who all have standard C63s. im sorry but these days C63s are stereotype cars

huh…apart from some alacantra trim on the steering wheel, the interior looks lust like a hyundai with the fake carbon-fibre panels…!

I need to see an image of an ///AMG black series C 63 painted black. !!!!
Before I part with 260 k

@mark I agree. Spot on. Here in the west of Sydney every unemployed 20 something drug dealing (won’t mention ethnic type but you know who they are) hoons around in brand new C63’s doing 100K+ in 50 zones. Constantly down-changing gears from high speeds to hear the throttle blip. Its become quite annoying and dangerous. The C63 has now replaced the WRX for these stereotypes. I’d never be seen driving one for the same reason I never wanted to be associated with a WRX. For a $150K+ car I see so many C63’s driving around it’s quite astonishing. The sad part is majority driving them are either ethnic drug dealers or older gold tooth dodgey ethnic real estate agents.

I’m not racist, but those damn ethnics in their fast cars! How dare they make my life seem so dull 🙁

Car is amazing, definitely do want. Sorry to burst your stereotype, but i’m not an ‘ethnic’ drug dealer.

Christo, if you can´t tell the differens on Mercedes and Hyundai, what are you doin´ here. This is an exelent piece of machin.
