The 90th Pikes Peak International Hill Climb kicks off in just one week and to pay homage to our record-breaking past here, we’ve got a surprise in store for you.
The 2012 running of the Pikes Peak event, originally scheduled for 8 July, was postponed due to the Colorado Springs wildfires. The rescheduled event will take place on Sunday 12 August. We hope the special RS5 Audi has in store does 90th running of the event justice.
Of course, with its all conquering Quattro S1 rally car, Audi won the Pikes Peak Hill Climb three years running (1984–1986) and they’ve given us a little reminder of their efforts with a short video after the break.
