Another naughty look at the BMW M235i

BMW M235i

Today is the official launch date of information for the new BMW 2 Series. Already, we’re up to our third round of leaked images after shots of the M235i emerged from a BMW dealer presentation and the 220d was shown to the world ahead of schedule by AutoBild.

And let’s not forget, technical specs revealing the F22 M235i will have 5kW more than the M135i hatch were leaked a couple of weeks ago. Details for the 220i and 220d were also shown at the time.

Now, we’re looking at what’s certain to be just a handful of the photos of the M235i which BMW will release later today. So there’s not really a lot left for the BMW marketing department to do. But when they do reveal all we’ll bring you plenty of 2000px goodness and all the press guff we can get our hands on.

Oh yeah, the car itself, we reckon this new M235i coupé looks pretty good. We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below.

Is that 2 usable cupholders i see? Amazing!

Doubt a M235i will be price competitive against a S3 sedan. Maybe a 228i

After its price readjustment the M135i is very competitive against the S3, so I see no reason why the same wouldn’t be the case with the M235i.

Front 3/4 view is awesome! Rear lights are ok but I’m sure looks much better in person. Might look a little strange when the boot is open.

I would like to think you are right Liam, doubt it though. BMW product placement is key, they will put the M2, assuming it happens of course, at least as high as the 1M was, $99k plus on roads and options. So that leaves plenty of room for the M235 below it.

I reckon they will put a premium on the coupe, cause they can. I’m thinking $90k on the road, similar money to the E82 135i with goodies pricing. The M135 is the S3 competitor, 5 doors, not the coupe M235. We will see I guess.
